No. Chinese passport holders require a visa for Thailand. The airline will not let you board without one.

Yes you can. As a citizen of China you are eligible for a Visa on Arrival in Thailand, which is good for a 15 day visit.. Here are the rules to obtain the visa once you arrive here in Thailand http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2482.php?id=2491
suggest you check at The Thai embassey in th US for 100% confirmation – being Chinese is a problem without proper visa to Thailand.
You will be refused on arrival …. back to china
I believe you need a visa as a Chinese citizen; however, your plane will stop in Hong Kong, and if you don’t have a visa, you will not be permitted to leave Hong Kong,
Yes you can
No one checks your Visa on departure. The US (like any country) only cares that your departure paperwork is correct. Whey you land at the Airport in Thailand you can apply for a 15 day Visa on Arrival. At Suvarnabhumi Airport there is a desk on the left just before you reach immigration.
Applicants should submit the application form duly filled out and to which his/her recent photograph (4 x 6 cm) is attached. The application fee is 1,000 Baht.
