If you are from a country travelling in the usa and plans to enter canada, and needs a visa to canada, can you get it in the USA?Example: A Thai national travelling to the east coast and plans to enter canada (as tourist as well) for a few days. Can he or she get his/her canadian tourist visa in the usa? What are the procedures and how long would it take?

Yes, foreigners on a B1/2 visa status may apply for a Canadian visa at the Consulate Generals of Canada in Buffalo, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle or Washington
