I m an Indian travelling to Thailand on Visa on Arrival. Can i transport Rupees and convert to ThaiBhat at Airport?
As mentioned ,Visa on Arrival in bangkok requires adequate funds equivalent to 10000 Bhats per person. Should i carry INR and get them converted to Bhats on Bangkok Airport or convert to Thai Bhats in India before travelling?Which one of above two process will give me better exchange rates? Can i show my Credit/Debit Card statements as a funds proof for Visa On Arrival

bring dollars it will be easier for you and a better rate . they may or may not take your card statements it depends on the officer you get in immigration you could just get a visa before you come that would solve it also

I go to Thailand from India every 6 months or so. I am a normal visitor and no body has in Bangkok has ever asked me to show so called 10000 baht. I normally carry my bank’s ATM card to draw as much money as I want from so many ATMs available all over in Thailand. There is to need to buy US $ in India and reconvert them into Baht in Thailand. Even if the immigration officer asks for showing the money, you can take some time from him and go to any of the numerous ATMs available there, draw 10000 baht and show to him.
