Need aid with Visa and trips to asia this summer. Please aid.?
I booked my flight to Vietnam on May 15th to August 15th. But I don’t really want to spend most of my months in vietnam much anymore.. I just want to to stay in thailand and go to vietnam for two weeks…. I have questions about visa.. IF i were to fly into thailand will i need a visa If I want to ( enter and stay in thailand for less then a month- Then visit VN for 2 weeks then head back to thailand for a few weeks then travel to the Philiphines for a few days then back to thailand ? Which means I will only spend up to a month each time…) SO the question is will I need to have a Thai Visa or no???Thank you! and serious help only please. Have a good day!

what is your nationality? most countries who will stay in asian countries, they have 30 days to stay in countries without getting a visa, some are 40 days, but it depends in the country,for example in Philippines, Americans can stay longer, because of their country good ties, most americans soldiers are in Philippines to train, since there are a lot of good training site their for soldiers, also u will find a lot koreans( cebu and baguio part) and chinese(manila part) in philippines.some tin only stay 15 days in phil. without a visa..but for immigration safety assay to stay 30 days with those country, i believe Philippines would be the best among those country u mentioned, first because english is one of their official language, most things including street, food, restaurant, transpo are written in english, people speak really good in english, they are friendly, second its one of the tourist spot in the whole word, (do search BORACAY, Vigan, Baguio, Bohol, Cebu, Palawan, Zambales, Manila, Makati) its complete not only focuses on beaches but also man made, natural site including spanish churches, also foods are good their food is mix of chinese and spanish cuisine..But visit Philippines during summer (march – may). You find a lot of foreigner. especially in Boracay

Basis on other questions you asked, I assume you are an American. As an American you are visa exempt (do not need a visa) to visit Thailand for up to 30 days if you fly into Thailand and 15 days if you enter at one of Thailand’s border crossing. You do need a visa for Vietnam, so check with the Vietnamese Embassy for details. If you fly into Thailand you can stay up to 30 or less than you go to Vietnam, and then return to Thailand, if you fly you get another 30 days, if you come by ground transportation you get 15 days. You can do this for up to 90 days in a 6 months period.
