These are the details and telephone numbers for the Peruvian Embassy in Bangkok. The Embassy of Peru is located in Bangkok in the Watthana district of Bangkok. The embassy can assist all Peruvian citizens in Thailand if they find themselves in trouble. If you are wanting to visit Peru then the Embassy can also issue you with a visa for a long stay in Peru. Note that the Embassy is located near the MRT Sukhumvit Station and the BTS Asok Station located in Bangkok. Take a motorbike taxi from the station.

Consular Assistance

Firstly if you are in Thailand and lost your passport as a Peruvian, you will need to ensure that you report the lost or stolen passport to Thai police. Secondly they will open a case for you and provide you with the case number. Thirdly, once you have this you will need to call the Peruvian Embassy in Bangkok for an appointment. Finally ensure that you hand them the police case number when you complete the new passport application form.

If you are getting married in Thailand, you will need a letter of no impediment. This freedom to marry letter tells the Thai government that you are single and can get married. You will need you passport and complete a form at the Embassy which you will need to collect later. From the Peruvian Embassy with your letter you will register your Thai marriage in Thailand. Firstly, if you gave birth then you will also need to contact the Embassy and make an appointment. You will need the Thai birth certificate (translated and certified) as well as your passport and the baby and go to the Embassy. Finally, they will then start the process of registering the child as a Peruvian born abroad.
