Visa on arrival at Suvaranbhumi airport?

Visa on arrival at Suvaranbhumi airport?
I’m an Indian citizen and my flight will reach at suvaranbhumi airport at 5.25 AM and i have a connecting flight to Chiangmai at 7.45 AM. I have nearly 2 hours gap between two flights. Both the flights are operated by Thai Airways. My luggage will be booked till chiangmai.Due to shortage of time, i am unable to get visa on time from Thai Embassy at New Delhi and hence i plans to get visa on arrival at Suvaranbhumi airport.I would like to know the procedure for getting VOA and time taken by immigration staff for issuance of such visa. Thanks in advance !

According to http://www.delta.com/planning_reservations/plan_flight/international_travel_information/visa_passport_information/index.jsp you can get a visa on arrival at Bangkok Airport. You need to call the airline to find out if 2 hours is enough time as the announcement below says you need 3 hours.Visa Issuance:- Those traveling as a tourist can obtain a visa on arrival, for a max. stay of 15 days provided holding: -passport valid for at least 6 months and with at least one 1 unused visa page for visa stamp; and – confirmed tickets for onward/return journey within 15 days from arrival date; and – at least THB 10,000.- per person; and – an address while staying in Thailand; and – 2 recent passport photos (size 4 x 6 cm, taken not less than 6 months ago). Fee: THB 1,000.-. Passengers must clear Customs and Immigration Quarantine (CIQ) immediately at the point where the visa is obtained. Passengers in transit should allow a minimum of 3 hours between flights. – Applicable only at Bangkok (BKK and DMK), Chiang Mai (CNX), Chiang Rai (CEI), Hat Yai (HDY), Krabi (KBV), Phuket (HKT), Samui Int’l (USM), Sukhothai Int’l (THS), Surat Thani (URT) and Utapao (UTP) airports. – Passport photo facilities are only available at Bangkok Int’l Airport (BKK).
